One original. Many copies.
Every token that trends gets cloned within hours. Same name, same ticker, same logo. Twin finds every token sharing a name and shows you which one came first.
What a copy can fake. What it can’t.
A clone is built to look identical in a search bar. Everything visible can be copied in minutes. The on-chain history can’t, and that’s where Twin looks.
The surface
- Name and tickerAny token can register any name.
- Logo and bannerImages are downloaded and re-uploaded.
- Website and X linkLinks point to the real project to borrow trust.
- Description textCopied word for word.
The history
- Mint addressUnique per token, forever.
- Launch timeThe original always launched first.
- Real liquidityDepth built by actual buyers.
- Trading activityMonths of volume can’t be backdated.
How Twin picks the original
Every token sharing the name gets scored on four signals. Weights are fixed and published here, so the answer is the same for everyone.
Launch time
The oldest pair gets the most points. Clones appear after the original starts trending.
Liquidity
Deeper liquidity means real buyers. Clones usually sit on thin pools.
24h volume
Where people actually trade. Fake volume on clones is rare and short-lived.
Profile
Listed image, website and socials on the pair. Weak alone, useful as a tiebreaker.
The original is both the oldest and the most liquid. Nothing else comes close.
The original leads on score, but one signal points elsewhere. Check the details.
Two tokens are close. Treat both carefully and confirm on the project’s own X.
Before you buy anything
Twin does the matching. These four habits cover the rest and take less than a minute.
Copy the CA from the source
Take the address from the project’s own X profile or website, never from a reply or a DM.
Search the ticker, not just the link
Paste the ticker into Twin to see how many copies exist and which one leads.
Compare the first and last characters
Clones sometimes pick vanity addresses that start and end like the original. Check the middle too.
Be suspicious of “relaunches”
“V2”, “migration” or “new CA” posts from unknown accounts are the most common trap.
Built step by step
The search is live. The rest is planned in this order and will ship when it’s ready.

Questions
Where does the data come from?
Pairs, prices, liquidity, volume, launch times and profile links come from the public DexScreener API, queried live on every search. Only Solana pairs are shown.
Can Twin be wrong?
Yes. A copy with bought liquidity can outscore a young original for a while. That’s why every result shows a confidence level and the reasons behind it. Always confirm the CA on the project’s own X.
Why do I only see some results?
The data source returns up to 30 pairs per search. Very common names can have more copies than that. The most active ones appear first.
Does Twin need my wallet?
No. Twin never asks you to connect, sign or approve anything. A site that does is not Twin.
Is a token marked Original safe to buy?
No. Original only means it came first. It says nothing about the team, the supply or the risk. Twin is information only and not financial advice.
The project token
Search stays free for everyone. The token is how the community backs Twin and follows its development.
Verify before you buy
This is the only official address. Yes, the clone detector has clones too. Search the ticker here to check.
